The schedule for all days of Saltvik Viking Market 2026!
11:00 – Market area opens.
12:00 – Opening march with vikings, warriors, musicians and other participants from the market area
12:00 – The merchant stands and restaurant opens. Sagas Raiding Party are available for the children
12:20-12:50 – Unvermeydbar play music on the market area
13:00 – Zack the Jester entertains
14:00-14:30 – Unvermeydbar play music on the market area
15:00 – Holmgers Hird and other viking warriors show viking age fighting. De Fliere Fluiters creates atmosphere with their music during the fight
16:00 – Zack the Jester entertains
16:30-16:50 – Unvermeydbar plays music on the market area
17:00 – Holmgers Hird and other viking warriors show viking age fighting. De Fliere Fluiters creates atmosphere with their music during the fight
17:00-19:00 – After work meny
18:00 – The merchants stands and Sagas Raiding Party close for the day
19:00 – The food service in the Longhouse closes, the Bar is still open
00:00 – The market area and bar in the Longhouse closes (Saturday the area and bar closes at 22:00)
Kristin Svensson – Fornfela, Rävspel & Kråksång and De Fliere Fluiters plays contemporary music on the market area and restaurants during the whole day.
Borge Swyn, our viking boat, lays in Kvarnboviken for everyone to see. Unfortunately we can’t offer any sailing or rowing experiences this year.
Sagas Raiding Party, our popular activity for the children (and the parents), go on during the day. The children will be doing some viking inspired crafts and get to take home what they make. Saga have also hidden a few runes around the market area, find all the runes and solve the rune puzzle to get a prize from the Raiding Chest!
We will fry our popular Viking pancakes over open fire during the market hours!
SPECIAL EVENT on Friday 25/7:
16:00 – 19:00 we serve spit roasted pig
17:00-19:00 – After work menu, food and drink for special price
19:00-19:40 – Filthy shanties with Kristin in the Longhouse
20:00-21:00 you can join the vikings and play different Viking Age games
21:20-21:45 – Filthy shanties with Kristin in the Longhouse
22:00 – Unvermeydbar play music and finishes the event.

Merchants & crafters: 12:00 – 18:00
The Longhouse: 12:00 – 00:00 (Saturday 12:00 – 22:00), we serve food to 19:00
Sagas Raiding Party: 12:00 – 18:00
ENTRY FEE:
Adults (13 years and older) : 10 €
Children (7 – 12 years) : 5 €
Family (2 adults and 2 children younger than 13 years) : 25 €
Children younger than 7 years has free entry!
